N° 03 — THE CHEF
Every dish is born from a simple balance: respect for raw ingredients, attention to the season and a deep bond with the territory.
Matteo San Giovanni's cuisine tells the story of Cilento through the day's catch, local vegetable gardens and a constant pursuit of lightness. Tradition and technique coexist in an essential offering, where every ingredient keeps its own identity.
More than surprising, the aim is to create a memory. An experience that accompanies the sunset over the sea with authentic, elegant and sincere flavours.
— Matteo San Giovanni
Chef Matteo San Giovanni has been featured in several publications dedicated to Cilento cuisine and his contemporary approach to Mediterranean tradition.

N° 05 — The Place
The restaurant looks onto the harbour. Boats return in the late afternoon, and the air carries salt, citrus and maritime pine.

The menu changes with the catch. Each morning the Chef picks what came in overnight: amberjack, langoustines, red prawns. Around it, the produce of the inland hills — piennolo tomatoes, our valley olive oil, Menaica anchovies, white figs, bufala campana DOP. An essential kitchen, shaped more by choices than by words.
The terrace opens onto the sea: cold bollicine, a crudo, a board of cured meats and cheeses from the hills as the light shifts behind Punta Licosa. A slow hour before dinner.
We're a short walk from the moorings. On request we arrange transfers from the pier and private dinners for crews and owners passing along the coast.

The Cilento, briefly
A UNESCO Biosphere Reserve and the home of the Mediterranean diet, the Cilento is one of the quieter stretches of southern Italy. Our tower — a real 16th-century watchtower — is one of the simplest ways to step into it.
